Successfully upgraded to Parallels 13, windows10 and Publisher 2016 a few weeks ago. All worked fine. Attempted to do some cleanup on the Mac this week and one of the suggestions was to uninstall unneeded plugins. It found one (cant remember exact) but basically was to be able to open internet explorer. Since I do not use IE I didn't think it would be a problem to uninstall the plug in. Uninstalled it the other day and tried to go into parallels today and it wont open. do I need to uninstall everything and start over or is there a plugin i can reinstall? I know I should not mess with things I know nothing about. Thanks in advance. Nancy

    Thanks Arurn
I did work through it yesterday. no errors came up in the system log. Should I do a reset and let it reinstall windows? This will only affect the parallels side as to deleting apps etc, correct? Don't want to create a bigger problem. Thanks for your response.

This seems the Windows virtual machine is crashed or corrupted, If you do not have any important files inside then we can remove this corrupted windows and install a fresh copy of Windows 10 virtual machine.

Thanks. Can you clarify if by resetting it will only remove apps and programs on the Parallels (PC side) and not touch the apps and programs on the MAC side? Nancy

Yes, resetting the Windows will remove only its applications and programs and nothing will be affected in the Mac side.

I have been in install hell for over 24 hours and stuck at 19%. Saw where it said it could take a day but no luck. Any other suggestions? Thanks. Nancy Screen Shot 2018-04-29 at 2.34.22 PM.png
