Unsupported WinXP

With Microsoft no longer supporting XP, can I continue to run it (and its associated programs) as a Parallels Desktop from my iMac? Or are there increasing security risks that would recommend shutting down XP and upgrading to Windows7 where possible? Some older programs (AutoCAD 2002) cannot be upgraded.

You pretty much answered your own question. You can, of course, continue to use XP, but there will be no more security updates from Microsoft.
