Updating Parallels Desktop 7 for Mac?

I would like to ask if I need to update my Parallels Desktop 7 for Mac to Parallels Desktop 15 for Mac to be able to use it on my MAC?
On my license is saying Parallels Desktop 7 for Mac...

You can upgrade to the Parallels Desktop 15 and use your Parallels Desktop 7 key as a confirmation for upgrade.
So, you can purchase the upgrade version (not the full one)
