    Hi there,

    I have MacBookPro 2011.
    I have a windows 7 x64 basecamp VM.
After upgrading parallels to the latest version I launched my VM.
A new version of 'parallels tools' installed successfully and asked me to reboot.
After rebooting my trackpad does not work, no clicks, no mouse. Only two finger scrolling works.
A USB mouse does not work either. It all worked fine, before installing the latest update!!

If I boot directly into the bootcamp partition all works fine.

    Help!!!

    Hi.
It is possible that, despite the message about successful installation the problem is with Parallels Tools. I think you should follow the steps from 'Resolution' section of this article (skip the search for the error message since you do not receive any):
    http://kb.parallels.com/8969

Do not forget to disable all your antivirus software and Windows firewall before installation.
Also, make sure trackpad is enabled in Parallels desktop:

    Solved

Strange, I did reboot the machine several times yesterday. I booted both into MacOs and Windows.
Today, it works. I have not changed anything. I guess it might have been a program running on MacOs that was causing the trouble.
