Upgrade form 11 to 12 activation key not working

I received an email form Parallels telling me about my free upgrade form 11 to 12. So I downloaded it from the email link.

But when I enter my v11 key, it tells me its not valid. It wont work with my v10 key either. I could try v6, v7, v8, or v9 keys, but I'm sure they are not supported.

What do I need to do to get my key to allow activation?

OK.. Think I may have figured it out. I was using my FULL key of v11 Desktop. But if I used my "subscription" key for v11 pro, that worked.
