Upgrade from Desktop for Mac 7 to full version 8

I have been using DfM 7 and purchased the full version of DfM 8,...not the upgrade version.

What is my best way to install this? If I just install the new download,...will it recognize that I am already using 7 and not require me to re-install Windows too?

Just install PDfM8, then go to Finder, type ".pvm" (without quotations) in the Spotlight search and double-click on the founded .pvm file (it should start your Windows virtual machine).
