Upgrade from Parallels desktop 5 to 6

Hi Does anybody know if i upgrade from Parallels desktop 5 to version 6 on a imac, i am useing windows XP sp3 on the Parallel desktop 5, works fine.

Will i lose all my settings programs etc in XP if i upgrade from version 5 to 6.

Be careful and reconsider upgrading. I started out with Parallels 3 with Windows XP on my MacBook Pro (back in 2008), worked perfectly. Upgraded to Version 4 and then to Version 5. Never had an issue upgrading until now. I only use one application in the Windows XP environment and nothing else. I upgraded to Version 6 and it will not work, can not access Hard Disk, program will not load my window application. Just reconsider, because the support is extremely limited, you are left on your own to solve the problem. Might just want to continue using Version 5.
 
Hi have upgraded to 6 (trial) from 5 without a problem. Found other problems though and have uninstalled 6 and reinstalled 5. Just make sure that your VM is shutted down, not suspended.
 
I upgraded from Paralles 5 to Parallels 6 and it seems that Parallels made a sort of "hidden" snapshot which I cannot delete and which is causind the hdd continually increasing in size an compression operations to fail.

Parellels support! please help!!!
