Upgrade Parallel Desktop 10 to Desktop 16

Hello

I have an old Windows 7 parallel VM which was created using version 10.4.0-29337. I upgraded to version 10.2.0-28956 as recommended by the software.
Now, when I tried to open my VM, it keeps asking me to activate the Parallels Desktop. I tried entering my old license key but it keeps telling me "an invalid argument was passed.

I still have an active subscription until mid-Dec.

How do i solve this problem?

Did you install the Parallels Desktop 10? Could you try to remove it and install again please?

I have downloaded and re-install version ParallelsDesktop-10.4.0-29337 .. and upon installing and entering my Activation Key, it still gave me the same error.
What other options do I have? If I upgrade to version 16, will my old VM file which was created in version 10 can be open? It is back compatible?
