Upgrade requirements

Hi,
I bought a new mac, and want to have the latest version of parallels 18.
I had parallels 12 on my older machine.
My question is what are the rules for "Upgrade". Can I upgrade from 12 to 18?

I do not see any rule list, so my assumption is that I can do that, but I want to confirm before purchase.

Hello,
I have been using Parallels product in the very first ages, and own an old licence for Parallels Desktop 6; before purchasing the upgrade, I'd like to be sure I can use it to upgrade from v6 to v18. Could you please confirm?
