Upgrade to v6 won't accept v5 key

Hi,

I' just purchased the V6 upgrade but when I enter in my v5 serial key it fails to work saying "The specified key cannot be used to activate the product".

The v5 key works with v5 which was also the first version of parallels I purchased so it should be valid.

You need too.....

You need to use the key that you received in your confirmation email when you upgraded to v6. Your v5 key will not work for v6.
 
Thanks for the advice. Perhaps I should have been clearer though. The v5 key is required to verify the upgrade. The v6 key works fine.

No matter as I've had assistance and the problem is now solved.
