Upgrade Windows Guest OS in Parallels 7

Is it possible?

I have Parallels 7 installed with Windows XP Pro SP3 running on OSX 10.6. It is running great.

I am wondering if I want to run Windows 7, can I get the Upgrade version of Windows 7 and upgrade the XP VM or do I have to get the full version of Windows 7 and create a new VM?
