upgrading from Desktop 7 for mac to Desktop 9

HI, i currently run Parallels 7 desktop for mac on my iMac which operates also OS X Version 10.8.5

I would like to upgrade to Parallels 9 but before i do i want to make sure it will not cause any problems with Windows currently installed on my Parallels 7 as well as the main program i have installed on windows (the only reason why i run windows & parallels).

If it is a seamless upgrade and no need to reinstall my program already on windows i will upgrade now.

Hi KylieC,

Upgrading Parallels Desktop will not affect any applications installed in your virtual machine. To be completely safe, you can make a backup before upgrading: http://kb.parallels.com/8829
