Parallels 9 was working fine until I upgraded to Mavericks today. Now I cannot even start Paralells 9 I get an error stating:
Cannot connect to Parallels Service.
Make sure that the prl_disp_service process is active and it is not blocked by Firewall. For details, please refer to http://kb.parallels.com/en/8089. If the problem persists, contact the Parallels support team for assistance.
I have tried the following:
Followed directions in suggested KB
Tried uninstall re-install
Tried turning off firewall
Tried restoring Parallels from Time Machine
Tried suggested terminal commands
