Upgrading to Parallels 11

I currently own Parallels 10. There is currently a $49 upgrade to Parallels 11 Std, or Parallels 11 Pro (1YR). After 1 year, does the PRO license turn into a perpetual "standard" license, or does the software cease to function?

I've seen a link on parallel's site for a "free upgrade to PRO", if you own standard. But since standard is a perpetual license, and pro seems to be a subscription, this seems misleading...

Hi, no if you click "upgrade now" button you will see that the Standard 1-time purchase and Parallels Pro subscription have the same price.
If you purchase 1 year subscription you will get all of upgrades for free during the subscription period, but once the subscription period ended you need to prolong it if you would like to continue use Parallels Desktop application.
Also could you please provide us with the screenshot of "free upgrade to PRO".
