USB Configuration

I don't seem to be able to have my USB device recognized between sessions. i.e. each time I launch an application that depends on a particular USB device being present, it is not recognized requiring me to select it again from the menu.

Any suggestions/fixes?

Further comment Please let us know about physical and guest os and version you are using ?
