I cannot see any USB device connected under parallels. I am running the latest version (retail purchase that has been patched). I get the yellow triangle error in device manager for the "USB Mass Storage Device" and the following error code:
This device cannot start. (Code 10)
I have made sure that the USB device is unmounted in the OS X world, and when I plug a device in, the Windows OS sees the device and "loads" the driver.
<Digression:>
I posted this problem to the Parallels support on the 12th and have not heard anything back. I have resent the request with no follow up from them. I think that it sucks that they:
a) Don't return email (though they claim that they will get back to you n 3 business days).
b) Require additional payment for phone support for newly installed product that has not worked from day 1.
