Just updated Parallels to 6.0.11828 It reports PT out of date. Click on install tools option (on gear wheel icon etc.) Get this dialog Clicking on Next ... nothing happens at all. Opening terminal and trying to run installer from there (using instructions that used to appear... ./install etc.) and nothing happens. Any suggestions what I should do next...? Thanks.
You could try to do it manually. Connect /Library/Parallels/Tools/prl-tools-lin.iso to the virtual machine CD/DVD drive. Then run ./install from the CD as usual.
