Using Acronis Disk Director

I have a second disk on my Mac Pro that has a windows install. Used by both Boot Camp and Parallels.

I need to re-size that partition. I have Acronis Disk Director but.... is it safe?
I was going to do it then I relaized it does the re-sizing after a reboot.

Should I do it within Parallels or within Boot Camp?

Anyone tried it?
