Using HD from Boot Camp in Parallels

I have an existing HD work space in Boot Camp. How do I (or can I) convert it for use in Parallels? Is there a step-by-step somewhere written by the folks at Parallels?

Problem is that I have littlespace left on my MBP internal drive. I do have a space that I can use on an external FW drive. Is it best to copy of backup the internal and restore to a new formatted partition on the external FW Drive, then boot off that? The partition in use with Boot Camp now is FAT32.

My machine: MBP 2.0GHz, 1.0GB RAM, Intel Core duo, SMC 2.1f10, configured as dual boot;
My Drive, WIN XP Pro SP2 w/ latest updates: 5.83GB, 631MB free
My Drive, MAC OS 10.4.5: 81.17GB, 5.8GB free
 
From what everybody is saying about licensing, I'd be surprised if you can convert it to Parallels -- everyone seems to say that you need to have two copies of Windows (one for Parallels, one for Boot Camp) if you want to use both. As for using the same ... I'd love to know how.
 
Yeah. And that's one reason that I won't do it. I'd rather wait for Leopard to come out (beind shown around now?). My version of Boot Camp. although difficult to deal with and having its own set of issues is reliable for the minimum stuff I need- USB->Serial interface, program terminal type interfaces, communication, internet.

Snif, snif...Boo hoo! I wouldn't be relying on XP any more than necessary!
