Hi,
We have a published database application running on a set of Terminal Servers. One of the options in the app, when it was running on local machines, was to generate a proposal and launch the local copy of Microsoft Word for editing and then saving the proposal. I do not want to have to license 40 copies of Office to run on the Terminal Service, so I am wondering if there is a way to have the user's local copy of Word launched. With the File/URL redirection in the newly released version 6 of the ApplicationServer, I'm thinking that may be the way to go, although it would require some programming changes to the app. Ideal would obviously be no programming changes needed
Is there a way to do this?
Thanks,
Kevin
