Using parallels for a call center job

I recently got a job at a call center. Has anyone used parallels for a call center job as opposed to buying a new windows pc? I can buy one if i needed to, but I just wanted to save some cash for the short term was wondering if anyone has had any with parallels and call center jobs.

What OS and software will you be running in the VM? In theory you can use any VM for any type of job if you have the right software.
