    Hi

I currently use parallels v11 on my mac laptop running windows 10 virtual machine.
If I want to use the same virtual machine (i.e. make a backup) on my iMac what do i need to do?

Do I need to buy another licence for parallels for my iMac?
Do I need to buy another copy of windows or can i just back up the VM from the laptop and reinstall on the iMac?

    thanks

    Dean

Hi DeanC5, you need to purchase a second license of Parallels Desktop for Mac for your iMac as one copy of Parallels Desktop for Mac can be used on a single Mac machine.
You can use the same copy of Windows virtual machine on your second Mac. Follow the steps mentioned in this article.
