Using wizard pvm files are not selectable (greyed out) on my external drive

Bit poster
Created a pvm file from my windows box on an external drive. Hooking the external drive up to my mac and then using the wizard to create the vm does not allow me to select the pvm file in the selection dialog. It is greyed out. In Finder I can access it alright.

Any thoughts?
