I have been using v13 for RDC to employer's server which runs Windows 7. (Parallels on my computer runs Windows 10). I just replaced a MB Air with a MBP. The MBP has a Retina higher resolution screen which made the remote computer look very small. I found a setting in Parallels -> Configure -> Graphics and set to "Scaled". This did solve the small image problem but now text looks fuzzy. Not terrible but noticeable. My question is whether upgrading to Parallels v14 would improve the fuzzy text. Thanks Ken
This is down to Windows ClearType, and on W10, there is a setting to fix this. On W7, I think you have to do the settings yourself. Have a look at this thread: <https://forums.anandtech.com/threads/windows-7-blurry-text-even-with-clear-type-on.333998/> This with ClearType turned on.
Hello Ken. This is a limitation of virtualization in general. Not technically possible to get the best of both worlds when it comes to video quality in a virtual display.
