Ver 4 on Air to Ver 8 on iMac

I inherited Parallels 4 from an old MacBook that's now on my MacBook Air running Mountain Lion which is obviously incompatible. I have a new iMac with Parallels 8. Is there any way to get the files off the Air onto the iMac without having to purchase and load Parallels 8 onto the Air?
 
If you are not running any bootcamp based vm, you just need the .pvm files, these are your virtual machines, these are by default located in ~/Documents/Parallels.
