Very slow upload speed in Windows 7 VM

I open Chrome on my Mac and go to speedtest.net -- my download speed is 54.44 Mbps and my upload speed is 9.39 Mbps. I go into Parallels (Windows 7 VM) and do the same speed test -- my download speed is 54.59 Mbps (almost identical, which is great), but my upload speed is 0.16 Mbps -- super slow. Any ideas what might be wrong?
