VGA Controler for XP?

Hi Forum!

When trying to get a decent screen size for Parallels on my iMac Core Duo, I can't find a good screen resolution.

1680X1050 is the default resolution of the 20" Mac display.

Something just a bit smaller for Parallels would be wonderful, allowing the sidebar to be easily accessed, instead of having to go through the "To return from fullscreen mode to windowed mode press Alt+Enter or press Ctrl+Alt (BTW it's a Mac, isn't Ctrl+option reality?) to release keyboard and mouse."

but that doesn't allow me to use the sidebar.

When I attempt to use the device manager in Windows
(go to Control Panel,
to System Properties,
to Device manager),

I get:
(with a yellow button with ! inside);

Video Controller [VGA Compatible]
If your hardware came with an installation CD or floppy disk, insert it now.
The drivers for this device are not installed, (Code 28)

Properties: Resource settings
This device isn't using any resources because it has a problem.

Being only a little bit familiar with XP, I shudder at installing anything
UNLESS I KNOW IT WON'T CAUSE ME TO GO BACK TO SYSTEM RESTORE,

as that can result in a complete reload after a blue screen.

DOES ANYONE KNOW A GOOD WORKING VGA CONTROLLER DEVICE DRIVER?

Or is this in the works?

Thanks, Greg

Have you installed Parallel Tools in your VM?
