Hi everyone! This is probably a very basic question, but I haven't been able to find the answer for it for a long time now. I work at a small IT consulting company and we want to covert PCs to thin clients. 2X is clearly a great solution for this (I've installed ThinClientServer and it runs just fine). However, we also want to set up MS Virtual Server and several XP virtual PCs to run on a server for the thin clients to connect to remotely. From all the research that I have done, it sounds like the only way to do this is with the new MS VECD licensing, which can be very pricey. The virtual PCs will only need to run MS Office and Acrobat STD (for the most part). I just need some help to figure out what is the most cost-effective way to do this. How does application server come into play in this equation? I would really appreciate any help! Thanks!
