I am running Parallels 5.0.9344 under 10.6.4, on a 17" MacBook Pro (1920x1200). The Virtual machine window list keeps going off the right edge of the screen on relaunch, no matter how much I move and resize it back to the screen area. There is only one screen (primary) and this bug is becoming annoying (I have to keep running an AppleScript to get window back).

    What is going on?

    same happens to me

Same exact thing started happening to me today (maybe yesterday, but only noticed today). For what it's worth, here's a few interesting lines from my parallels.log file:

    17:19:28.103 F /gui:779:207/ Show window
17:19:28.116 F /gui:779:207/ VM List window saved display configuration was depricated.

    There is a KB article

It says this is a known issue and turn off animation in preferences for virtual machine window. It at least stopped it for me.

yup, disabling animation for "Virtual Machine Window" works for me as well.

Preferences > Appearance > Animate: Virtual machine window
