Vista does not start

Hello i have Vista Ultimate running, but most of the times it won't start it stops while booting. Then I use the image tool then runs defragment then Vista starts. But the next time after shutting down vista ik get the same problem. I'm working with the build 3120 and a macbook with 2 gig mem.

Can somebody give me a tip how to correct this?

Its works wel with build 1890 on a macbook pro with 2 gig mem.
