I'm a Windows developer and just got to a point where I have to stop & reboot my Windows VM 15+ a day. Every time I am in a debug session, if a ASSERT, crash or un-caugh exception occurs the Windows VM machine will become completely frozen. The Windows mouse still moves but everything is frozen solid. I have no indication that the VM still responds to keyboard or USB events. Even waiting for 10-15 minutes does not change anything. I have to STOP and Reboot the VM.

My VM is Windows 7 Home premium 32 bit to which I allocate 2 out my 6 GB of memory.

    I am using:
    - Parallels Desktop for Mac version 5.0.9376

    On the Windows VM:
    - I am using Visual Studio 2008 SP1

Something that is recently different: I just upgraded (or actually let the update installs) OSX to 10.6.7

It seems to be working fine with me in Parallels 6, just so you know.
