Visual Studio zooms in/out when Cmd is mapped to Ctrl

I've tried remapping the Cmd key from the default 'Windows' key to the Ctrl key, making it easier to switch between Mac and Windows. However, whether I do this remapping using the Parallels Shortcuts menu or something like SharpKeys on the Windows side, pressing Cmd will randomly zoom in/out in Visual Studio. I've tried reinstalling Parallels tools and turning 'Send OS X system shortcuts' to Auto, Always, and Never, and I've turned off all keyboard shortcuts to zoom in/out in Visual Studio. Any idea why this keeps happening? (Sorry for reposting, but no one seems to be responding to the old thread.)

I came across this post in Stackoverflow which is about disabling the CTRL+Mouse scroll to zoom in/out. Please check if this is something that could help you.
