I use W10 VMs in fullscreen mode on parallels 13 When parallels starts it opens my VM window and keep it suspended, but the window is open. (Prev version did not opened window) When I suspend the VM, the window remains open. ( and this was also in the previous version), So in the prev version, if I need to start another VM, closed and restarted paralles application to have only one active window open Now this trick it does not works because, as said, all windows are opened at startup. I don't like that parallels opens my VM windows cluttering my desktop space, but I haven't found any option to revert to the pre-13 behavior. I'd like to - open the VM window only when I want to use the VM - close the window when I suspend the VM, even if manually. Is there a way to do this ?
Hello @RinoP , please refer http://kb.parallels.com/120414 to customise startup and shutdown settings for virtual machine. Thanks
Hi Alfena Thanks for your reply, anyway it does not solves my issue. Startup and Shutdown setting for my vm are Start Automatically = never Startup View = same as last time Now can I ask you what should I change to avoid that when parallels starts, it displays the vm window even if suspended ? I had no such behavior with previous version. TIA
No one from parallels support is able to say something on this topic ? Does not seems such a difficult question...
