VPN wireguard not work

I am using mac os sonnoma as a guest system. I have wireguard not working , the network just disappears after connection.
No matter what I try it doesn't work. Neither in shared network mode nor in bridge mode. The network drops out after connecting to wireguard. Wireguard config is working, I checked it on the host system.
Mac m1 pro. Parallels Version 19.3.1 (54941)
Does anyone have any ideas on how to fix this?
 
Also in shared network mode, if you connect to wireguard on the host system in the guest system, the internet works. But I need to run wireguard from the guest system. The internet doesn't work in the browser. In the terminal ping google.com works and curl ipinfo.io/ip gives the correct IP address. I have tried chrome, safari, firefox browsers.
