When I wakeup my suspended Vista or XP session, many times the disk thrashes for between 10-20 minutes with no status of what is going on. If I wait it out it usually comes back and I can use it. During this delay, my whole Mac seems to be locked up or is extremely slow.
How can I fix this. Back in PArallels 4 my recovery from suspended mode was just a few seconds and I was back to work.
