Warning message every time i go to open a windows file (from finder)

Hello Forum people,
problem -> updated || from 10.2 to 10.3 version. / possibly mac update around that time also (not sure as auto updates)-> every time machine start-up (mac reboots) when i open a windows file in finder warning message pops up (refer attachment), after the initial opening of the program (for example excel file) even following a restart of the VM it will opening without the warning (seems to be something in mac side)? Performed revert to 10.2 version (and another appearance change that i was not happy with was rectified) however the warning message continues to plague...
I have been using || over about 6 years now and it has never occurred with any previous version, that is I always use finder to open files. HOWEVER the lovely people at tech support || said this is to be expected.. what a load of rubbish!
Is there a fix on the mac side to perform (mavericks OS) ...should i contact mac support...
Any one experiencing the same issue out there???
