Hey Guys,
I currently have a XP VM that easily connects via shared networking when I am connected to wireless, ethernet, or evdo. The issue appears when I add vpn services on top of that. I launch my VPN client from the mac side of the house and everything works fine for the VM unless I am on EVDO. If I am on EVDO the VM can no longer talk through shared networking.
A couple of things.
All my network ports are in automatic
Internet sharing is not enabled for any of those interfaces
I have tried HUP on the pvsnatd process - didn't help
So I am basically running out of ideas. It used to work somewhat on 1970 but still had issues and is now totally shut down in the 36 and 38 builds.
I am tried this both using the internal drivers for my 640 as well as the verizon client.
Here is another fun thing... If I ping from the VM I can get what I am looking for, and DNS works fine. The issues is with web and with outlook. So I am guessing I have an MTU problem that is causing the issue to some degree. I have tried tweaking the VM down to 1300 MTUs and 1100 (windows registry) and it did not help the issue much. I am thinking that I might need to also make those same changed on the parallels side but I don't see any place to change that.
Thoughts or suggestions appreciated.
