I was having tremendous trouble getting Bloomberg to let me login. Bloomberg uses a little fingerprint-protected SecuriD card that has a light sensor on it -- you sync it with a blinking dot on your monitor.
I turned acceleration down from High to Normal, and the thing worked every time. What do these settings do? Should I keep it on High except when I need to login, or is there very little difference in performance?
