I recommend you to uninstall it because package name is changed and your OSx will keep two version of parallels.

Are Beta testers suppose to read instructions? Can someone tell me where to find the bata 6 version of parallels and if it is OK to just Trash?

Installing RC over Beta 6 worked for me. OSX reboot is required after install to get the new kernel drivers loaded though.
