When PD12 is running and I plug into external monitor it goes into power save mode

I am running OSX Sierra with Windows 10 Creators Update. Whenever PD12 is running and I plug my MacBook Pro into the Dell U3415W monitor, it immediately enters power save mode. My primary display is still working and my machine 'think's it is in dual display mode. My dock and all my windows are on the external display but I just can't see them since the monitor is blacked out.

Hi @AndyC3 , Is this happening only when Parallels Desktop is running? Did you try the same without running Parallels Desktop for Mac?

Yes it only happened when PD12 is running. I have to shut down PD12 and reset my computer and then the external display works properly
