There is usually an icon in the Mac menu bar that displays the Windows Start menu. For some reason, that is gone. I don't have a Parallels icon in the Mac Dock. Parallels is also running in coherence.

Currently, I have no way to access Parallels, although it is running. I can see the Windows network, CD, and PC Status icons all in the top Mac menu. Any ideas what happened and how I can get back into Parallels?

    Thanks.

Windows 8 does not have a start menu, really (one of the major complaints). To get to something close to it you need to Right-Click the Windows Icon in the Dock and at the top is the "Power User Menu". So far this is the closest thing I have seen for this.

I used to use the Parallels Icon in the MAC Taskbar all the time.

I'm using Vista. But for whatever reason, the menu is now back.
