Where is the "Shared Folder"?

You have to set that up in the guest vm setup, I called mine XPTransfer
Maybe I'm not being clear. What I'm trying to find is the location of (or path to) the shared folder (any shared folder) on the Mac side. In other words, where would I look on the Mac harddrive for the shared folder. If I look in the applications folder, there is a folder for parallels but I don't see any shared folders. If I look in my home/documents folder, there is a parallels folder there too but again, no "shared" folders to be seen. What I would like to do is use, say, Photoshop running under OSX to open a JPEG in the parallels shared folder without having to launch parallels, fire up the VM, copy the file to the Mac desktop, etc....

YOU must define the shared folder in the Parallels Console under EDIT Virtual Machine!
You can share as many or as few as YOU decide!

You set ANY EXISTING folder on your Mac to be a shared folder.
I do it by selecting the "Devices : Shared Folders : Add ..." menu option, as this can be done at any time without shutting down the VM. Choose any folder on your hard drive and give it a name that it will be seen as in Windows, and an optional description. It will then appear with that name in "My Network Places" in Windows.

Duhhh....
OK maybe I'm just thick. I see that I can choose any folder on my Mac HD to be shared. But there is a shortcut on the windows desktop named "Parallels Shared Folders", placed there by default. If I d-click that shortcut a window opens that shows a path \\.psf. In that window, I can see the shared folders I created plus an "Untitled" folder. However, I cannot find that untitled folder anywhere on either system. It has to exist somwhere on the Macs HD...no? Sorry if this is completly dense...

OK...Bling! It's a network location, not an actual folder on the HD. OK. So the answer was: "It's not a folder, its a network location"
