Where to get a full version of Windows 8

Hi folks,

This may sound silly, but has anyone been able to get their hands on a full version of Windows 8? Every store I go to only has upgrade versions, and I don't have a recent version of Windows to upgrade from, because all the windows machine I bought in the last 10 years came preloaded with windows and had no CDs.

Even the Microsoft online store only offers upgrades. I tried to get my hands on an OEM full version from a local computer store, but they refuse to sell them to me without selling hardware.

Any suggestions?

I generally use newegg, but any of the vendors listed should work.
