Which Windows to install ?

Hi,

I need to install Windows on my new Mac through BootCamp: Sometimes I will boot on Windows, sometimes I will emulate Windows thanks to Parallels Desktop. Which version of Windows do you recommend to install? 7, 8 or 10? I will use Windows mainly to develop and execute programs in Visual Basic, Fortran... I look for performance.

Thank you for your answer. But it is not related to my question: all Windows are supported. I wonder which one has the best performance as virtual machine for developing and executing programs in Visual Basic, Fortran.

Hi JulienC1, you may try Windows 7 virtual machine in Parallels Desktop and install Visual Basic, Fortran and check how it works. Thanks!
