For a while, I've been shouting (some would say urinating) into the wind about what is going on in the rest of the Win/Lin virtualization market while we wait for PWS 3.x or even an update to PWS 2.x. I've mentioned Innotek's VirtualBox and how it was already appeared to be a more than capable replacement for PWS under both Windows and Linux.

Needless to say, I was extremely surprised to read the following yesterday (quoted from http://www.virtualbox.org/wiki/News):

Sep 3, 2007. innotek today released VirtualBox 1.5.0 for Windows and Linux. Major new features and many small improvements make this update a very significant software release. Among the major features is the seamless windowing mode where the windows of a VM directly integrate with your Linux or Windows desktop -- making VirtualBox the first product to offer this support on the Windows and Linux platforms.
