Why can I sometimes not get the Mac menu-bars to appear from full-screen Windows?

You are supposed to be able to push your cursor to the top of the screen to get the menu bar which includes Parallels options. Or to the bottom to force the MacOS dock to appear.

But I find this erratic. Sometimes I have to try several times, sometimes it won't work at all and I have to command-tab back to a Mac app.

What exactly are the gestures that are supported and are there any reasons it would not always work?

bump. I run two Windows VMs, one of them this works about 50% of the time, the other 0%. I have to switch apps to some random Mac app just to get back to my desktop. It's really annoying.
