Why is the trial key not active until tomorrow?

I just downloaded the trial version. I ran Parallels, entered the trial key that I received in e-mail, then get the message:

The activation key relates to the license, which is not active yet. Please check your local date and time settings.

I noticed that the start date is not until tomorrow.

START DATE : 16/11/06
END DATE : 01/12/06

WTF? A start date? How about right now? Did somebody not take into account timezones?

I've been a little leery of trying Parallels because this operation smells like it's run out of a garage... and little things like this aren't helping.

OK. I'll just wait until tomorrow to see if this runs. It'll give me a chance to run nightly backups just in case....
