Wifi keeps disconnecting randomly / slow speeds

I'm using Windows 7 with the latest Parallels version and my wifi connection when W7 is active keeps dropping randomly during the day. When I shut down W7 it's back to normal.

I'm not sure what to change on my router or in Parallels that could fix it.. I've tried various options over time. Does anyone have any info that might help?

I've re-installed Parallel Tools and disabled my windows firewall. Hope that helps, but if there's any other suggestions I'd be glad to hear them!

thanks for the reply. The first link: i don't use a Cisco router. And I don't believe my machine is running slow so the 2nd doesn't apply to me. Do you have any other suggestions?
