Will installing version 11 preserve a Windows 7 VM on Parallels 8 ?

Hi folks,

I currently have a Windows 7 VM on Parallels Desktop 8 on a Yosemite iMac.

I understand that I can't upgrade to version 11 and need to do a full install of Version 11.

Will this preserve my Windows 7 VM ?

Hi Kieran, yes you will have to get the full version of Parallels Desktop 11 for Mac. Un-installing and re-install Parallels Desktop will not affect your virtual machine, so the Windows 7 virtual machine is safe.
