My Parallels Tools subscription, being used with P. Desktop 14, expired. As I intend to purchase the newest Parallels Desktop when Apple's MacBook Pro 16" M1X/M2 arrives, I wonder IF I have to then also purchase a new P. Tools subscription? In other words, does/will P. Tools cross support P. Desktop 14 and 17 along with being able to migrate from my old Mac to the new one?
Will the same Parallels Tools work with Parallels Desktop 14 now and 17 when MacBook Pro 16" arrives

Hello, it depends on you Parallels Desktop subscription type.
With a perpetual Parallels Desktop for Mac license you get a three-month subscription for Parallels Toolbox for Mac and Windows.
With a Parallels Desktop for Mac Standard or Pro Edition subscription, Parallels Toolbox is valid for the duration of your subscription.
